Why Should I Get A Colonoscopy?

Let’s begin with what is a colonoscopy. A Colonoscopy (koe-lun-OS-kuh-pee) is an exam used to detect changes or anything that is not normal in the large (colon) and rectum. During a colonoscopy, a long, flexible tube (colonoscope) is inserted into the rectum. Believe it or not I am getting a lot of feedback from people thinking that Colonoscopy is for older people, well think again younger people under the age of 40. How old you’re is just one of the reason, there are many other reasons why doctors are saying that you should have a Colonoscopy procedure done.
